Lucille Duncan Champion , 67, of Clinton, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. Champion was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton.
She was born in Campbell County on Sept. 15, 1930, the daughter of John and Martha Duncan .
She is survived by her husband, Jack Champion ; a daughter, Connie Lawson of Lake City; two sons, Jackie Champion and his wife, Monnie, of Clinton, and Michael Champion and his wife, Vickie, of Gallatin; two sisters, Mildred Hudson and Louise Gross, both of Lake City; and two brothers, Dewayne Duncan of Dayton, Ohio, and Thomas Duncan of Knoxville.
Mrs. Champion is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Marie Duncan of Powell and Mary Lou Duncan of Lake City; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Paula, Kathi, Josh, Joey, Brian, Wesley, Elyssa, Erin and Eric; three great-grandchildren, Brennan, Brianna and Jimmy; and by several nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Dorcie Duncan and Phyllis Sharp, and three brothers, Kermit Duncan , Bert Duncan and Willard Duncan , died earlier.
The funeral was held Sunday night, Feb. 1, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating.
A graveside service was to be held at 11 this morning, Feb. 2, at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.
