WILLIAMS, DON ROY, SGT. FIRST CLASS (RET.) - after 22 years of service was born May 21, 1931 in Wheelright, Kentucky. He died on January 25, 2003 in LaFollette, Tennessee. He was a multi-decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnamese Wars. He was also a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church of LaFollette and DAV Unit 105. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the Department of Aging in Sevier County, Tennessee. He was an expert bowler and an avid fisherman. Preceded in death by son, Don Williams, Jr. and parents, Henry S. and Beatrice Quillen Williams 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Jane Crouch Bell Williams son, Troy Williams of Mountain City, Tenn., son and wife, William Henry and Janice Carr Williams of Sevier County, Tenn., son and wife, Mark and Barbara Fleming Williams of Boston, Mass. stepsons and wives, Steven E. and Kay Trentham Bell, Joseph B. and Kelly Cooper-Patterson Bell and Robert W. and Meg Kerley Bell, all of Knoxville and stepdaughter, Sharon Bell Mann Trotter and husband, James T. Trotter, Jr. of Morrison, Colo. 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, at First Presbyterian Church in LaFollette with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., Rev. Makolm King will officiate.
