She was born to the late Calvin and Alma Jeffers in New River, Tenn. She has been a resident of the North Georgia Area since 1952 and was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, Varnel. Bea retired in 1986 from Dixie Yarns after 23 years. Bea was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton "Lee" Eslinger; daughter, Kay Eslinger; five sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Charles) Hughes, of Ringgold and Leetta (Bruce) Stanley, of Dalton; grandchildren, Jeff Hughes, Stephanie Shepherd, Jason Hughes and Kayla Davis; great grandchildren, Jeremy McTaggert, Josh Hughes and Haylee Beth; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Gregory Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Gordy Memorial Cemetery.
