CASBY, DAVIENA "NOODIE" LENORA UPTON - born March 31, 1962, Class of 1980, Austin East High School. Before her illness, she served as a nurse at Fort Sanders Hospital for fourteen years and Farragut Health Care Center. She departed this life to be with Jesus, August 23, 2003 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. Preceded in death by grandparents, Mother Anna and Horace Thompson, Gustin David Upton father-in-law, Matthew Casby sister-in-law, Betty Foster. Survivors: devoted and loving husband, Brian (Chuckey) Casby, Sr. daughters, Da'Shonda, Daiesha Ballinger godson, Myron Roberts parents, Rev. David and Ann Upton sisters, Angela Winton, Nashville and Kimberly Moore brother, David Upton, Jr. grandmother, Nellie Upton, Madisonville, TN mother and father-in-law, Odie Casby (Richard Holmes) stepchildren, Sherman, Brian, Jr. and Travis Casby step-grandchildren, Shermyia, Azyia and Destiny Casby stepbrothers, Marcus, T. J. White stepmother, Debra Upton brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Patricia) Edwards, William Montgomery, Lampoc, CA, Patricia (Bobby) Scot, Vanessa (Ronnie) Grayson, Yulonda (Rufus) Bowen, Natalie (James) Crippen several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 27, from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Greater Warner Tabernacle AME Zion Church, funeral service, 6:30 p.m. Interment 1 p.m. Thursday, Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Dr. Siddiqui and his staff and the doctors and nurses in the CCU unit at Fort Sanders Hospital. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
