LONG, SANDY D. age 37, passed away on Saturday February 2, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospice. She was a member of Holston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: grandparents: Alan and Martha Inman, and Gene Harris. She is survived by: husband Martin (Tiny) Long; son Scottie Crawford; step-son Trevor Long; stepdaughters Meagan and Shelby Long; mother and stepfather Carol and Dan Crawford; father Jack Inman; brothers and sisters-in-law Rodney and Jackie Inman, Adam and Wendy Inman; sister-in-Law and brother-in-law Cindy and Jim Trentham; grandmother Irene Harris; grandparents Hugh and Katheryn Crawford; special nieces and nephew: Hailey, Brittney and Isaac Inman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Cofer and Christy, the staff of St. Mary's Hospital 3C, the staff of St. Mary's Hospice, and to all of Sandy's co-workers for all of their prayers and gestures of kindness. Funeral service will be on Monday February 4, 2008 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Young officiating. Graveside services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at East View Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be: Andy Wilson #22 (Honorary), Wayne Yoakam, Tommy Keane, Michael Keane, Bobby King, Elmer Ray Trentham, and Harry Pierce. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 PM prior to the funeral service. McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home is honored to serve the family. 637-7955
