  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 10 Dec 2008. CRAWFORD, HUGH E. - age 84 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, December 8, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Methodist faith and a retired salesman with Avondale Dairies. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Simpson Crawford and Mary Geneva McMillan Crawford; son, Jimmy Leon Crawford; grandchild, Sandy Long and a brother, Ben Crawford. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Kathryn Brock Crawford of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Gary Hardin of Morristown; sons and daughters-in-law Hugh Dan and Carol Crawford of Strawberry Plains, Edward Carter and Carolyn Crawford of Dandridge; grandchildren Betsy Hardin Stibler and Gary Hardin, II, both of Morristown, Heather LeBlanc of Dawsonville, GA, Dustin Crawford of Atlanta, Rodney Inman of Wartburg and Scottie Crawford of Strawberry Plains; great-grandchildren Joel, Jacob, Chase and Gabrielle Hardin, Kirk Wolff and Emma Kate Stibler, Alexander, Katie and Dominic LeBlanc, Hailey Isacc and Brittney Inman; sister Iva Luttrell of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fielden Funeral Home, Rev. Dale Mitchell officiating. INterment at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Eastview Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
