Holsonbacks to celebrate 65th
Weyman Charles Holsonback Sr. and Sarah Kathleen (Morrison) Holsonback, of Maryville, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary today.
The couple were married Nov. 26, 1943, in Calhoun, Ga. The Rev. Thomas Henderson officiated.
Their family includes son, the late W.C. Holsonback Jr., and daughter-in-law Florence Green Holsonback, of Maryville. Their grandchildren include Larry Dale Holsonback and wife Josephine Wilkinson Holsonback, of Maryville, and Deni Renée Holsonback Davis and husband Keith Davis. Their great-grandchildren are Brianna Melissa Holsonback, Catharine Ann Holsonback, Landon Matthew Davis and Elijah Trent Davis.
Mr. Holsonback was a staff sergeant in World War II, serving in the European Theater. He retired from ALCOA Inc. after 33 years of service.
Mrs. Holsonback is retired from the medical field.

His family includes wife Sarah (Teney) Morrison Holsonback, and son, the late Weyman Charles Holsonback Jr. and daughter-in-law, Florence Green Holsonback. Grandchildren are Larry Dale Holsonback and wife, Josephine Wilkinson Holsonback, and Dina Renee Holsonback Davis and husband, Keith Davis. Great-grandchildren are Brianna Melissa Holsonback, Catharine Ann Holsonback, Landon Matthew Davis and Elijah Trent Davis.
Mr. Holsonback is retired from ALCOA Inc. with 33 years of service. He is a veteran and served in the Army in the European Theater during World War II. He is a member of Cades Cove Memorial Baptist Church.
