  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 10 Jun 2002. McCARTER, KRISTEL DAWN - age 22, of Maynardville passed away suddenly Monday June 10, 2002. She was of the Baptist Faith. Kristel attended Horace Maynard High and the 1st graduating class of Union County High School in 1998. Preceded in death by: her grandfather, L.R. Avery; grandparents, Gladys McCarter Ratbone and John. Survived by her mother and daddy, Linda McCarter and Dwayne McCarter; grandmother, Gertrude Avery; sisters, Linda Diann Hobock, Lisa Sue Turner, Sirena McCarter Cooke, Vivan Leah McCarter, and Kristi Gentry; brothers, Victor McCarter, Marty D., Greg Gentry, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Kristel will be sadly missed by everyone. Especially her close friends of Union County and her Daddy and Mother. Pallbearers: her daddy, Dewayne, brother, Marty, Michael Trent, Keevan Collins, Dallon Hobock, Upell Hall, Larry Wright, Travis Massingo, Teddy Miller, Robbie Collins, Sheldon Turner, Jason Blevins, Jo Ed Muncey, Pete Hobock, Thomas Cooke, Randy Turner. Graveside service and burial will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Alder Branch Cemetery in Sevierville, Rev. Gary Beeler, Rev. Kelsey Jessee, and Brother Pete Daniels officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the 407 exit off of Interstate 40 to proceed to the Cemetery. Arrangements by Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville.
