HODGES, BRADLEY EARL - age 46 of Knoxville, died suddenly on November 17, 2008. Brad was a skilled plumber and a cherished member of a large and loving family. He is survived by daughter, Whitney Hodges, and her mother, Sherry Martin of Brevard, N.C.; parents, Howard and Joyce Hodges of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brent and Lee Hodges and Kent and Renee Hodges; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tameron Hodges and Tony Krieg, Trudi Hodges and Teri Hodges and Davis Allan; special cousins, Sharon, Jerry, Tina, and John Wood, Ann Hodges and other beloved cousins; several aunts and uncles; numerous nephews and nieces who adored Uncle Brad. Preceded in death by grandparents, Claude and Goldie Hodges and Otis and Effie Proffitt. The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday at Weaver's Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 4 pm, Rev. Kerry Bond officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials to be made to Habitat for Humanity, Cumberland Baptist Church Food Pantry, or the charity of your choice.
