DALE RANDALL PUCKETT, age 63, of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Sevier County, TN passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, life long musician and songwriter and was employed by Dollywood for over 25 years. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. Survived by many but surpassed by none. Preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Jo Owens Parton. Survived by wife, Mitzi Puckett; father, Don and Mae Puckett; children, Paula and Rob Moore, Karen and Mark Light, Angela and Travis Phillips and Shelley Chambers; grandchildren, Jennifer Lethco, Joshua Lethco, Alex Lethco, Emily Moore, Isaiah Harding, Kamden Harding, Kassandra Harding, Kasin Phillips, Devin Phillips, Tyler Chambers, Sasilya Hinton and Lillian Hinton; great grandchild, Shawn William Johnson; brothers and sisters, Donna and David Cudd, Donnie and Debbie Puckett, Dwight and Sandy Puckett, Debra Jo Hess and Rena and Roger Conley; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Jewell Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Hills Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Ladd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services, and also on Sunday evening 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.
