Survived by son, Stacey Stallings of South Carolina sisters, Margie Nichols and Jean Pruitt, both of Strawberry Plains, Ruth Pruitt of New Market brothers, Bill Stallings of Strawberry Plains, Ray and Thurman Stallings, both of New Market, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2003, Fielden Chapel, with Rev. Larry Pruitt officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove (Piney) Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 6:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.
