FLYNN, MITCHELL ELDON, SR. - age 63, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 15, 2001, at his residence. Mr. Flynn was a member of the Church St. United Methodist Church, a member of the Church St. Singles Program, Owner and Operator of Flynn Finishes Inc. on Forest Ave., and Owner and Operator of the Flynn Dance Center. He was also a past associate with the Knoxville Opera Company and long time participant of the Knoxville Choral Society. Mr. Flynn was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Cecil Lowe Flynn, and two brothers, Robert and Jack Flynn. He is survived by one son, Mitchell Eldon Flynn, Jr. of Knoxville; two daughters, Katherine Webber and husband Ric of Arizona, and Michelle Harrington Berkley and husband Michael of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Camron, Brendon, and Jared Dieckhoff, and Taylor and Chelsa Harrington; four brothers, Harold Flynn and wife Lynn, Dwight Flynn and wife Barbara, George Flynn, and Lowell Flynn and wife Betty; one sister, Trula Beazley and husband Gail; one sister-in-law, Doris Flynn. A very special friend, Keryl Fillers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday with the service at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Sowler officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Highland West Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Garland Vaught, Bob Martin, Mike Leuthke, Ronnie Chamberlain, Pat Ramsey and Joe Holdredge.
