He loved sports and officiated basketball, football, and baseball at all levels. Preceded in death by his father, Dr. Andra Spurgeon. He is survived by wife, Kristin Gibson Spurgeon; daughter, Kylee Rhea Spurgeon; mother, Lucy Spurgeon; brother, Jonathan Spurgeon and wife Melanie; niece & nephew, Nash and Meryn Spurgeon; father & mother in-law, Billie and Glenn Barber; special friends, Ryan Moody, Andy Vorwerck and Bryan Self; beloved pets, Oreo and Stone. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for graveside service at 11am Tuesday.
