Ashley Messer, age 29, of Parrottsville, passed away Sunday 14, 2016, at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Ricky Taylor; aunts, Sherry Kay Stapleton and Jeryl Lynn McGaha; and stepdad, Robin Layman. She is survived by her mother, Lisa Helton and step-father, Tommy George Dadson both of Newport; father, Larry Helton; son, Dwayne Messer of Sevierville; daughter, Robin Helton of Bybee; fiancé, Ramiro Moreno-Diaz; grandfather, Carroll Taylor of Newport; grandmother, Imogene Taylor of Dandridge; brothers, Ronald Taylor, of Cosby, Brandon , Justin and Tyler Clevenger all of Newport; and Larry Helton, Jr of Del Rio; sisters, Marsha Helton of Newport and Cindy Ball of Bybee; also several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 16, 2016 with funeral services following at 7:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kris Brady officiating. Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Grooms Cemetery, Grassy Fork. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
