Ralph L. Pritchard, age 86, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Ralph was a World War II Army veteran and was a retired electrician. Ralph was a member of Union Masonic Lodge #38 in Kingston for over fifty years. His parents, Arthur L. and Vannie White Pritchard of Kingston; son, Eddie Pritchard of Lenoir City; granddaughter, Lucy Pritchard of Powell; brothers and sisters: Ray and Jay Pritchard, Pauline P. Cromer, Beulah P. Burns and Lucille P. Huffine, preceded him in death. Ralph is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gladys H. (Shorty) Pritchard; children: Doyle (Carolyn) Pritchard of Oliver Springs, Wayman (Anna) Pritchard of Knoxville, Sissy (Bob) Shirer of Rockwood and Paul Pritchard of Lenoir City; grandchildren: LeeAnn C. (Neel) Caughron of Lenoir City, Andrew (Ginger) Pritchard of Knoxville, Adam (Sandra) Pritchard of Knoxville, Chris and Mark Pritchard of Lenoir City, Jimmy and Susan Lawson of Knoxville; great grandchildren: Jacob and Lacey Pritchard, Grace and Amelia Caughron all of Lenoir City, Tristan, Tyler, Evan, and Madeline Pritchard and Rachel Lawson all of Knoxville; brothers and sisters: Irene P. Adkisson of Knoxville, formerly of Harriman, Bob and Mava Prichard of San Antonio, TX, Betty P. Phillips of Kingston, Don and Frieda Pritchard of Kingston; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of additional family and friends. The family appreciates the care and support from the staff of the Ben Atchley Veterans Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Ivey and Rev. Danny Curtis officiating. A masonic service will follow. Family and friends will gather at 12 noon Saturday at Poplar Springs Cemetery for graveside services with full military honors conferred by the Loudon County Veteran's Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tyler Pritchard Eye Fund, 7012 Shalidar Drive, Knoxville, TN 37921.
