Mabel M. Blazer, age 87, of Parrottsville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Newport Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Flora Masoner; brothers, Bruce, J. B. and George Masoner; sisters, Edna Sauls, Mae Edith Trentham and Jean Buckner. She is survived by her husband, L. V. Blazer of Parrottsville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shelly Blazer of Abingdon, VA; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Reva Masoner of Dandridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Braudus Blazer and Martha and Jerry Thomas both of Newport; grandchildren, Mason, Brock and Eli Blazer; several nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tony Eldridge, Pastor Jack Wilder and Rev. Arthur Willis officiating. Entombment will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 4, 2012 in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
