Cynthia Kay Shell Dotson (Cindi) age 47 of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Cindy was saved and baptized at an early age and was a member of the Philadelphia First Baptist Church. She graduated from Loudon High School and attended Roane State and Pelissippi State Community Colleges. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Haskel and Iva Shell and Floyd and Mattie McDaniel. She is survived by her son, Robert Blake Dotson; parents, Bob and Jean Shell; sister and brother in-law, Sandra and Danny Brown; niece, Makhaila Brown, all of Philadelphia; aunts and uncles, Clarence Ray and Phyllis McDaniel of Sweetwater, Ruth and Bill Thompson of Philadelphia, Reed McNabb, Nicholson, GA, Pauline Shell of Lenoir City; special friend, Karmen Kimsey Millsaps. Funeral services 3:00 PM Friday, First Baptist Church, Philadelphia, with Rev. Brian Courtney and Rev. Richard Turbyville officiating. Interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Gary Kimsey, James Harrison, Steve Shell, Leonard Grimes, Randy Davis, Blake Dotson. The family will receive friends 1:00 –3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
