GRUBB, CLAUDE - age 73 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, November 1, 2004 at his home. Mr. Grubb was a proud member of Lyons Creek Baptist church, Shekinah Masonic Lodge in Strawberry Plains, as well as a veteran of the United States Army, though his grandchildren were his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis & Bessie Grubb and two infant brothers, Ray and Glenn. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace of 51 years sons and daughters in law, Rick and Debbie, Allen and Sherry and Scott and Dawn Grubb grandchildren, Justin, Chad, Heath, Christopher and Katie sisters, Nola Haun and Helen Bounds special nephews, Jess Haun, Larry Leach special friends, the Morning Krystal Group, Gray's Garage and his church family. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Trentville Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Pallbearers include: Bob Bates, A.C. Haggard, Mike Black, Ray Huffaker, Wayne Cannon, Roy Riley, Charles Walker and Lonnie Parrott. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Lyons Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund. Evergreen Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
