DENTON, LILLIAN "KATHLEEN" - age 76, of Claxton departed Earth and became a resident of Heaven on October 1, 2008. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Graduate of Clinton High School and Knoxville Business College. Kathleen worked for M-K Ferguson, other engineering firms in the Oak Ridge area, and bookkeeper for various businesses. Kathleen enjoyed life with her family, gardening, yard work, and puzzles. Preceded in death by father, Frank Denton and mother, Coy Denton. She is survived by sister, Mary Ruth and husband Carl Cook; nephews, Mark & wife Janet Haskew, Carl Cook, Jr.; nieces, Sheila and husband Ron Woody, Jenny and husband Steve Kitts, Jane and husband Larry Jackson; special great nieces, Julie Haskew and Emily Woody; special great nephews, Jonathan and Jacob Haskew; great niece, April Stouffer; great nephews, Gregory and Matthew Jackson; special friend, June Stephens and many loving cousins. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm, Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. David Simpson officiating. Her burial will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Garden. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
