She was a member of New Christian Rest Baptist Church and retired from Shannondale Healthcare. She was preceded in death by husband, Dallas K. Hurley; son, Eddie; grandson, Ronald Lee Pack; parents, Noah and Jennie Welch; brothers, Bob, Elmo and John Welch; grandmother, Minnie Vananda. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. and Charlotte Pack, Dallas K. Hurley, II, Darrell D. and Teresa Hurley and Jesse C. and Debbie Hurley; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackque and Jim Jenkins, Jane E. Thomas and Iva Jeane and Joe Glass; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jess and Betty Welch, Noah "Jr." and Dorothy Welch, Jack and Josephine Welch and Joe "Ike" Welch; sister, Joyce "Teeney" Smallwood; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Linda Seals. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm with Reverends David Cloud and Gary Day officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am Friday at Weaver's to proceed to New Gray Cemetery for an 11 am graveside service.
