Hattie Daniels, age 76, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 in a Knoxville Hospital after suffering a heart attack a few weeks prior.
Hattie was born in Del Rio to John B. and Hicie Prater Daniels who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her oldest son Jay B.
Hattie was the youngest of nine children and was preceded in death by brothers Roy, George Burton and Robert and sisters Bertha Robinson, Letha Holland, Iva Green, Hulda Hance and Juanita Moore.
Hattie is survived by her loving children Benny of the home and daughter Gail Ann and special friend Charles W. Church.
She is also survived by three grandchildren Kimberly LeAnn Daniels, Jessica Nicole and husband David Parton and Ashley Renea Daniels; three great-grandchildren Dakota, Chyne Michael and Lawrence Reid Parton; daughter-in-law Bernice Daniels of Newport; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends including the children of the late Frank and Cleo Huff.
Family received friends Monday, June 25, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. with the funeral service at 8 p.m. with the Reverend Dean Jaynes officiating.
Graveside service was 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Daniels Cemetery in Del Rio.
Brown Funeral Home in charge.
