BUSHNELL, Charles A. Jr., 48, of Roanoke, died Monday, April 17, 2000. He was a 30-year employee of Kroger, most recently, in the produce department at Lakeside Kroger. He was a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church, and was active in the Roanoke Valley Antique Auto Club of America. Surviving is his wife, Helen Lantz Bushnell; parents, Charles A., Sr. and Nellie E. Bushnell; son, Charles A. Bushnell, III; stepsons, Marty Etzler and wife, Donna, Kenneth Etzler and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Lindsey Etzler, Savannah Etzler, and Jacob Muse; brother and sisters, Jerry Bushnell and wife, Tonya, Shelby Bass and husband, Bill, Bonnie Hall; numerous other family members, nieces, nephews, and many friends including Kenneth Woods, Tom Cox, and David Cooper. Services will be at Oakeys South Chapel 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2000. The Rev. Nelson Harris and Pastor Ed Woodard will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
