Harvel Gean Kelso, 61, Sarasota, died Feb. 18, 2001. He was born Nov. 9, 1939, in Greenback, Tenn., and came to Sarasota in 1984 from Atlanta. He was president of Ken Neal Corp. and was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Suncoast Optimist Club of Sarasota and was on the board of directors. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Maryville, Tenn. Survivors include four sisters, Barbara Bradford of Maryville, Shirley Duncan of Ellijay, Ga., Alice Stargel of Louisville, Tenn., and Christine of Maryville; five brothers, Arthur, David, Edward and Hugh, all of Maryville, and Clifford of Walland, Tenn. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a service at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel.
