(November 12, 1919 - September 18, 2008) Ressie Lucille Adams, age 88, of Townsend, went to her heavenly home Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness. She was a living testimony of God’s Love and Grace for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clark Adams Sr.; sons, Floyd Watt Adams, and Kern Lamar Adams; grandson, Dale Myers; parents, Watt and Mamie Ingram; and son-in-law, Jimmy Cromwell. She is survived by her sons, Clarks Jr., Harry, Ralph, and John Adams; daughters, Joann, Joyce, June, Anna Mae, and Dawn; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; several cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins; caregivers, Brenda and Ralph Adams; special friends Ann Ripley, Faye Huskey; and numerous more friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity. At Mrs. Adams request she was cremated. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. Another Memorial service will be held at The Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Walland at a later date.
