Elizabeth Joan Johnson, 64, of Newport, died Sunday at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Johnson; brothers, John and Robert Burton; and sister, Eva Mae Shelton.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby Hill of White Pine, David Smith of Chattanooga, and Donnie Williamson of Newport; daughters, Gail Metcalf of Del Rio, Vera Norton of Newport, Sally Sanderlin of Pittsgrove, New Jersey, and Robin O’Sick of Newport; mother, Connie Burton of Newport; brothers, Ronnie and James (Red) Barrett of Newport; sisters, Helen Feuerbacher of Jackson, Ohio, Jessie of Crossville, Wilma of Newport, Charlene of Cleveland, Ohio, Wanda of Newport, Janice of Bristol, Virginia, and Nellie of White Pine; uncle, Jack Barrett of Del Rio; aunt, Mary Moore of Jefferson City; special friends, Joan Moore of Newport, Clara (Noorwood) Bradway and Paul Sprouse of Bridgeton, New Jersey; 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Manes Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Frazier officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Big Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
