Merle J. Dunlap, age 80, of Seymour passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007. He was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Greyhound as a bus driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Clemmie Farmer Dunlap, brother, Charles Dunlap, of Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Irl Roberts, and Ruth and Clyde Williams
Survivors:
Daughter: Judy Cole and husband Joe
Grandson: Casey Boring
Granddaughters: Carey Lindsey and husband Scott, Rebecca Cole
Great-grandson: Tanner Bowman
Great-granddaughters: Ciara and Brianna Lindsey
Sister-in-law: Ruth Dunlap, of Ohio
Brother-in-law: Howard Barbara and wife June
Special nieces: Pat, Betty, Debra, and Carole
Special nephews: Gary Williams of Maryville, and Timothy Dunlap, of Ohio
Mother of his daughter and caregiver: Alma Fugate

Family and friends will meet 11 AM Monday at Eusebia Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Ernest Condee officiating. Military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
