Dorothea was preceded in death by parents Sam and Ora Stubblefield Hampson; husband Webb Ownby; brothers Robert B. and William B. Hampson. Left to cherish her memories: children Faye and husband Jackie Fortune, Gary and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Michael Fortune and wife Lisa, Felicia Fortune Branum and husband Rob, Amy Ownby, Cory Ownby and Brian Davis; great-grandson Tyler Davis; brother-in-law Ralph Ownby and wife Dorothy; sisters-in-law Dorothy Hampson, Hazel Ownby and Thelma Hodges of Alaska; nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8 at Highland Memorial Funeral Home (Bearden) from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Family and friends will then meet at Rocky Hill Cemetery for a 4:00 p.m. graveside service.
