KECK, LEATRICE JUNE GANN - age 80, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on May 18th after an extended illness. She was a loving and caring wife and mother, and all who knew her were touched by her kindness and generosity. She was the perfect example of a virtuous woman (Proverbs 31: 10-31). She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Connie Gay Keck; parents, Lester and Minnie Gann; and brother, Frank Gann. Survivors include: husband of 60 years, Roy D. Keck; daughter, Carolyn Helton; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Johnnie Keck; grandchildren: Scott (Amanda) Tippens, Brent (Christina) Tippens, Ashley Tippens, Justin (MarKita) Keck, and Derek (fiancé Ashley Roberts) Keck; great grandchildren: David, Emileigh, Erica Tippens, Ethan and Kinsleigh Page; brothers: MC (Laura) Gann, Roy (Shirley) Gann, Lester (Glenda) Gann; and sisters Gladys Carey and Joann (H.D.) Yawn; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 PM Wednesday with funeral services to follow at 7:30 at Weaver Funeral Home with the Rev. David Stooksbury officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 AM on Thursday at Lynch-Bethel Cemetery for the graveside service. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
