Martin-Myers engagement
Christie Marie Martin, daughter of Michael Martin, of Walland, and Kimberly Underwood, of Maryville, is engaged to marry Michael Shane Myers, son of Hubert and Patty Myers, of Maryville, at 5 p.m. Oct. 18 at Savannah Oaks Winery, Delano. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Patricia Martin, of Hollywood, Fla., Don Martin, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Don and Jan Hodges, of Opa-Locka, Fla.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of J.B. and Nouvella Hargett, of Greenback, and Pleas and Thula Myers, of Maryville.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Heritage High School. She is employed at The Daily Times in the classified advertising department.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Heritage High School. He is employed by the city of Maryville in the water department.

Christie Marie Martin, of Maryville, daughter of Michael Martin, of Walland, and Kimberly Underwood, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Michael Shane Myers, of Maryville, son of Hubert and Patty Myers, of Maryville, at 5 p.m. Oct. 18 at Savannah Oaks Winery, Delano. The Rev. Gerald Ivey officiated.
Samantha Jennings, of Maryville, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erica Kurtz, of Maryville, Mavis Bean, of Robins, Ga., and Tosha Bates, of Rockford.
Zoey Bynum was flower girl. Aidan Bynum was ring bearer.
Hubert Myers, of Maryville, was best man. Groomsmen were Bub Meadows, of Maryville, Jeremy Bean, of Robins, Ga., and Danny Myers, of Maryville.
A reception was held at Savannah Oaks Winery.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Heritage High School. She is employed in classified advertising at The Daily Times.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Heritage High School. He is employed in the water department at the city of Maryville.
