BRADLEY , JAMES ALVIN - age 78, of Maryville, passed away Thursday morning, April 1, 1999 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Retired from Alcoa and a member of The 25 Year Club. Veteran of The U.S. Army, having served during World War II. Preceded in death by twin daughters, Willie Sue and Billy Ann Bradley ; parents, Luke, Sr. And Amanda Raines Bradley ; brother, Charles A. Bradley ; grandson, Chris Lail. Survivors: wife, Gertie Cabe Bradley ; sons, Wayne Bradley of Greenback and Allen Bradley of Maryville; daughters, Gail Standridge of Jonesboro, GA, Donna Lail of Monroe County, TN and Judy McDaniel of Greenback; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Luke C. Bradley , Jr. of Alcoa; sisters, Anna Mae Hickman and Mamie Sue Best, both of Maryville, Margaret Payne of Alcoa and Zula Michaud of Tampa, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday, April 2, 1999 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Charles Bailey and Rev. M.D. Cabe officiating. Family and friends will meet at Morganton Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Saturday for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
