PAYNE, Margaret E.-age 82 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Payne Jr; parents, Luke Bradley and Amanda Rains Bradley; brothers, Alton Bradley and Alvin Bradley; sister, Anna Mae Hickman; brothers-in-law, Don Payne, James Payne and Mack Russell.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Deborah Caughron and husbnad Phillip of Maryville, Tammy Smith of Cleveland, Tn; son, Jack Payne and wife Ann of Maryville; grandchildren, Justin and Sarah Caughron of Dallas, TX, Stefanie Payne, Jason and Krissy Payne all of Maryville, Cody Smith, Catherine Smith, Cindy Smith, Cassy Smith and Cory Smith all of Cleveland, TN; great grandchildren, Vans Rylee Payne and Evan Payne both of Maryville; brother Luke Bradley Jr. and wife Sally of Alcoa, sisters, Mamie Sue Best and husband Burl of Maryville, Zula Michaud of Brandon, FL; sisters-in-law, Jean Abbott and husband Willard, Joyce Russell, Shirley Hitch, Betty Burns and husband Jim all of Maryville, Peggy Payne of Chattanooga, and Joann Payne of Maryville.
Funeral services will be 7:30 PM Monday, July 7th, 2008 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Carl White officiating. The interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, 982-6812.
