May 16, 2015 Resided in Maynardville, TN Mark Allen Martin, age 57 of Maynardville, TN. passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and taught music in the Union County school system for 27 years. Mr. Martin was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Verlis Martin, sister Vickie Heiskell, and grandparents Roy and Nannie Ingle and James and Ollie Martin. He is survived by Mother: Evelyn Ingle Martin Nephew: Keith Vandergriff and family Brother-in-law: Jerry Heiskell Many cousins and friends Mark loved his students. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 429, Seymour, TN. 37865, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM Wednesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Floyd Powell and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating.
