BRANTLEY, RONNIE ALVIN "SHAD MAN" - age 57 was called home to heaven on May 5, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife LouElla Fay Brantley; grandparents Andy and Corey Walker, and Sarah Jane and John Brantley. He was a member of Emory Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Ronnie was employed for many years at Robert Shaw, and later went on to work at Norfolk Southern Railroad and A.R.C., Inc. He is survived by his mother Cecila Brantley and father Floyd Brantley; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Nancy Brantley; sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Melborn "Duck" Munsey; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and James "Jim" Strange; Sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ruben Stansbury; sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Robert Bailey; aunts and uncles; a great many nieces and nephews; daughter, Leticia Ann Brantley; special friends, Danny Harrell, John Proffit, Richard Elliot, Ronnie Grayson, and many, many others. Family will receive friends at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on May 6, 2009 at Cooke Mortuary in Maynardville with funeral services directly following, Reverend Richard Nicely and Reverend Dean Brantley officiating. Graveside service will be at Millers Cemetery in Maynardville at 2:00 pm on May 7, 2009. He has gone to meet his wife in Glory. www.cookemortuary.com
