WORLEY, ERNEST, JR. (ERNIE) - passed away Friday, November 2, 2012. Ernest was born December 27, 1927 in Bristol, TN and graduated from Bristol TN High School and Bristol Commercial College. He was a WWII veteran having served in the South Pacific with the US Navy. Preceded in death by wife Mary and daughter Teresa. Survived by his loving companion Betty McKeehan; sons, Ernest Worley III and Michael Worley; granddaughters, Tabitha Neville, Teresa and Mary Worley; also sister Betty Walker and husband Ronald; three great granddaughters, Jillian, Marley and Olivia Neville; several nieces and nephews. Ernie came to Knoxville in 1965 by way of Pensacola, FL and Oak Ridge while working with Sherwin Williams Co. He retired after 37 years of service. The family will receive friends Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. with a short service following at 7:30 p.m.. Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Shipley Cemetery in Bristol, TN. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
