Member of Ball Road Baptist Church and retired from Silver Manufacturing. Preceded in death by parents Harvey and Josie Welch; brother Elmer Welch; sister Opal Mayes; brothers-in-law Clyde Mayes and Paul Letsinger; sisters-in-law Toni Ellis and Sally Sentell; son-in-law Gary Russell. She is survived by husband of 54 years Jim Sentell; daughter Connie Russell; son Bryan Sentell; grandchildren J.R. and Jennifer Russell; great grandsons Zachary and Joseph Long; sisters Ruby Letsinger and Jewel Davis and husband Maurice; extra special friend Margaret Williams, sisters-in-law Willie McCoy and husband Roy, Shirley Manes and husband Bob; brothers-in-law John Weaver, Howard Weaver and wife Ann, Mike Weaver and wife Cathy, and Sid Sentell; aunt, Stella Minge; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday June 18, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Brother Bob Manes officiating. Family and friends will meet at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View Pike at 11:15 A.M. Monday for graveside services at 11:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to SOS Missions, Inc. c/o Bob Manes 1329 Murrell Way Seymour, TN. 37865. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M.
