Ruth Lovin Scarbrough, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her home in Halls. She was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. Retired from the Standard Knitting Mill. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Scarbrough. Survived by daughter, Delores Bounds, son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sandy Scarbrough; grandchildren, Angie Fields and husband Brian, Sean Scarbrough, Niki Qualls and husband Buddy; great-grandchildren, Samantha Overbey, Austin Fields, Kara Webb, Kelsey Fields, Jacob Scarbrough and Leah Qualls and very special friend, Betty Fields. Funeral service 8:00 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Toby Everette officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Tuesday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for 11:00 am interment. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Elmcroft of Halls Assisted Living, 7521 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
