DUNCAN, WILLIAM EARL - age 36, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Upson Regional Hospital in Thompson, Georgia. Mr. Duncan was a dedicated employee of J.B. Hunt for more than 16 years and was a lifetime avid Tennessee VOLS fan. He is preceded in death by his son, William Earl Duncan II father, John Duncan grandfather, Oliver Hancock and aunt and uncle, Bert and Carol Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Becky Duncan of Barnesville children, Heather, Scott, Dixie, and Jacquelyn Duncan of Georgia mother, Frances Duncan of Knoxville step-father, Robert Maples of Knoxville' brother, Danny Duncan of Dawsonville, GA sisters, Susan Williams of Stockbridge, GA, and Penny Dalton of Sevierville aunts and uncles, Jackie and Melvin Clay of Conley, CA Brenda and Johnny Lane of Dandridge, Judy and Bud Branch of Kodak, John and Ella May Love, and Debbie Duncan grandmother, Pauline Hancock of Knoxville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2004, from the McCarty Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Gary Stiles and Reverend Billy Harris officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Pollard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the mortuary.
