William Elmer Webb, age 75 of Dandridge, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at his home. He was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the missions committee andenjoyed retirement and was an avid fisherman. Preceded in death by his parents, E. H. and Jesse Cole Webb, Sr.; son, William F. "Buddy" Webb; brothers, E. H. Webb, Jr. and Cloys Webb; sister, Katherine Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Sims Webb; daughters and sons in law, Pam and David Ramsey and Carol and John Shore; sons and daughters in law, Mickey and Sherry Webb, Chuck and Paula Webb; and son, Joe Webb; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Mary Le and Joe Miller and Annette and Ray White; brother and sister in law, Parks H. and Betty Webb. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in memory of William Elmer Webb be made to the Grace Baptist Church, c/o Dorothy Williams, 822 Bruce Williams Rd, Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at the Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Smith and Bro. Eddie Trent officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 Friday evening at the Grace Baptist Church in Dandridge.
