Laura Edith Overton Cagle , 83, of Georgetown, Ill., formerly of Lenoir City, died Friday, March 21, 2003 in Danville, Ill. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Georgetown, and was a former employee of Bacon Cotton Mill. She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Lillie Mae Lewis Overton ; sister, Anna Lou Overton ; and brother, French Overton .
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Eugene "Toad" Cagle ; children, Johnny Cagle and wife, Bunny of Talbott, Eugene Cagle and wife, Sharon of Kearney, Mo., Tommy Cagle and wife, Linda of Lenoir City and Marvin Cagle of the Carolinas; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. The family received friends from 2- 3:15 p.m. Sunday followed with a 3:30 p.m. funeral service in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne White of Cleveland officiating.
