Earle "Dadaw" Jennings, Sr., age 82, of South Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Jennings served in the United States Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Ruth Jennings; parents, Floyd and Lilly Jennings; brothers, Milton and Arley Jennings. Survived by: his wife of 62 years, Agnes "Peggy" Jennings; children, Sue Covington and husband Robert "Pete"; Joyce Housley and husband Terry, Kathy Bonilla and husband Danilo, all of Knoxville; Earle "Huck" Jennings Jr. and wife Trish of Maryville; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and three step grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Brock of Ohio, Mildred Harper of Maryville, Clara Mae Cox of Harriman. The family will receive friends at Highland South Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services with military honors will be held in Highland South Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet in the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. Highland South (865)573-7300 www.highlandmemorialparks.com
