Haggard, Mary Ernestine, age 77 of Myrtle Beach, SC, went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2008. Mary was a life long member of Bright Hope Tabernacle Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her family and attending church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Haggard; parents, Horace and Bessie Moore; brother, Joe Moore; sisters, Stella Wilburn and Grace Lawson.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Fritz Specht of Myrtle Beach, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Jim and Patty Haggard; grandson and wife, Larry and Nancy Johnson; granddaughter and husband, Kristi and Rev. Josh Glandon; granddaughter and husband, Nikki and Derrick Dirmeyer; great granddaughter, Hannah Grace Glandon and baby to be, Eli Joshua Glandon; sisters, Pat Lane, Lois Maples, Ruth Whitaker, and Marcella Velasco; brothers, Don Moore and John Moore; several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be planned at a later date. Burial will be in Chilhowee Cemetery, Pleasant Hill Road, Maryville, TN.
