BROWN , CURTIS L. - age 74 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and served in the US Army. Preceded in death by wife, Audrey Brown his mother and father, Betty and James Brown brother, Paul Brown . Survived by daughters and sons in law, Brenda and Mike Higgins, Donna and Gary Lane, Michele and Frankie Seay brothers, Fred, Troy and Bill Brown sisters, Lois Julian and Elise Stephens grandchildren, Lindsay Burnette, Logan Seay, Lacey Seay, Melissa Kent, Scott Higgins, Carrie Pickens, Steve Lane several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will received friends on Friday October 4, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. with a funeral service to be conducted at 8 p.m. with Rev. I. A. Sparks officiating. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at 1 p.m. in Highland South Memorial Park with military honors provided by State Volunteer Honor Guard.
