MCCONKEY, MINNIE O. - age 82, of Sweetwater, passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2008. She was a member of Rock View Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Homer McConkey; parents, Walter and Maude Robinson; sisters, Virgie Robinson, Mary Byrd, Ailene Marsett, Lucille Smith; brothers, Edward Robinson, Ernest Robinson, Walter Robinson. Survivors include daughter, Jean Graham; sisters, Eva Mae Melton, both of Sweetwater, Ovelina Stansberry, Etowah; grandchildren, Kim and Neil Smith, Donna Graham; great-grandchildren, Amber and Jenny Smith, Steven Graham; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, May 4, 2008, from 1:00P.M. until 3:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 3:00P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev.
