HEMPHILL, CECIL - age 81, of Louisville, TN, passed away Friday, July 15th, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Burnette's Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dicie Hemphill, son, Virgil Allen Hemphill, and stepson, Jessie Lee Wilson. He is survived by: daughters Sue Green and Barbara and husband Jerry Conner; son Charlie Hemphill and wife Joyce Hemphill; stepdaughter Doris Warren; grandchildren: Melissa, Stephanie, Missy, Michelle, Tracey, Steven, Timothy, James, and Joey; 12 step-grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday, July 17, at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Ron Mays officiating. Family and friends will meet at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday at 1:15 to process to Pollard Cemetery for the interment service at 2:00 PM.
