He was a former member of New Hopewell Baptist Church, and retired from Merita Bakery after 42 years of faithful service. He was also a highly decorated U.S. Army Veteran who served in World War II. Preceded in death by loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Lena Mae Lett; parents, Millard and Lillian Lett; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors Survived by daughter, Karen Kidd & husband Johnny; sons, Millard Lett III, Michael Lett & wife Patricia, Gary Lett, Steven Lett & wife Angie; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Paul Lett & wife Shirley; sister, Elizabeth “Toots” Swann; and several nieces and nephews. Service Family and friends will meet at Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery at 9:30 AM on Wednesday for graveside services, Rev. Don Ownby officiating.
