Byron W. Luster Sr, age 79, of White Pine, went to be with the Lord Wednesday October 26, 2005 at his residence. He was a retired fork lift operator and a member of New Home Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Morristown VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Luster; parents, Fred R. and Letha B. (Holt) Luster; granddaughter, Randa Luster; son-in-law, David (Pete) McGinnis and brother, John F. Luster.
Byron is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Paula Luster of Morristown; son, Mark Luster of White Pine; daughters, Barbara Ottinger of White Pine, Carol Patterson of White Pine, and Jane McGinnis of Morristown; sisters, Wilma Jones of Point Pleasant, Darcus Ivy of Morristown, and Connie Ivy of White Pine; brother, Robert (Bud) Luster and his wife, Jewel of White Pine; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Luster will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 29, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Crayne officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery.
Military services will be conducted by the Morristown VFW Post 5266.
The family will receive friends Friday evening October 28, 2005 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Byron W. Luster.
