MCMILLAN, RUBY ESTHER SMITH - age 90 of Knoxville passed away Monday, March 31, 2008, at her home. Member of Little Valley Baptist Church in Blaine. Preceded in death by husband, John P. McMillan; son, John L. McMillan; parents, Lankford and Annie Smith; sisters, Hazel Shelby, Frances Belk, and Edna Joyce; brothers, Ernest, Lester, Alvin, Glenn, Wayne, Clarence, and Donald Smith; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Sonny Dickerson; grandchildren, Donna Dickerson and Connie Walker; sisters, Susie Flynn, Nina Fisher, Ina Cochran, Mary Alice Zachary; sister-in-law, Wilma McMillan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Trentville Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Jimmy Sherrod officiating.
