STRUNK, BETTY ELIZABETH - age 66, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2008 at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic, Iowa following a long illness. She is preceded in death by her parent, Claude C. and Elizabeth Myers Sr.; brother, Bud Myers; and her son, Joseph Strunk; step mother, Cloe Myers. Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Karen Phillips, Claude J. (Jack) and Dorothe Phillips; grandchildren, Julie, Joshua, Matthew, and Daniel Phillips, Robert McDaniel; and a brother, Ron Allen, Atlanta Georgia; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service Rev. Tom Everett officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
