BEST, Charles E., age 68 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008. He was a member of Carpenters United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Gertrude Best; brother, Roscoe Best.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nora Best; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Melinda Best; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Brian Wilson; grandchildren, Morgan and Abbey Best, Travis and Anthony Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar and Irene Best, Tommy and Sue Best, Larry and Sandra Best, Wayne and Loretta Best; sisters, Irene Carpenter, Wilma Holder, Edna Ruth Murphy, Mary Martha Boring, Myrle Alloway, and Irma Grace Boring; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Liz and Ben Best; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A special thank you to St. Mary’s Hospice.
Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Carpenters United Methodist Church Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Kenny Tucker and Rev. Chris Boruff officiating.
