HELLMUND, BRENDA SUE - age 61 of Knoxville, TN, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Baptist Hospital. Brenda was a member of Outreach Baptist Church. She retired from Baptist Hospital after 27 years of service in the dietary department. She is preceded in death by: parents, Mr. & Mrs. Turner Hurst; beloved brother, Rev. James "Big Jim" Hurst. Brenda is survived by: her loving, devoted and caring husband of 27 years, Dennis Hellmund; brothers and sisters in law, Ronnie & Sherry Hurst, Kenny & Astra Hurst; sisters and brother in law, Robin & Roger Hensley, Ginger Owens; sister in law, Anna Ruth Hurst and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Highland South Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Highland South Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Highland South Memorial Park.
